On summer days guests can relax in the tranquil gardens which border onto open countryside, and in cooler weather they are invited to retreat to the large comfortably furnished conservatory to read, watch television - and on clear evenings just star-gaze and dream.

For the more energetic there are several footpaths and bridleways to explore around Cold Aston, including the Gloucestershire Way and Macmillan Way long distance trails. Several of the local country pubs and village inns are open for lunch and dinner, and in addition, afternoon tea, kitchen suppers, or more formal evening dinners are offered “in house” at FIELDWAYS for a supplementary charge. Cold Aston is on the west side of the A429 (Fosse Way) between Northleach and Bourton-on-the-Water.

To find FIELDWAYS:

On entering the village, first locate the Plough Inn in the village centre, then turn in to Chapel Lane (a No Through Road in front of the Plough Inn). Proceed to the end - FIELDWAYS is the last house on the right, behind large wooden gates.
